Our mission is to create an opportunity for high schools to be involved in a high-performance competition environment which inspires students, enhances connections amongst school communities, connects students with higher educational opportunities, and develops practical esports industry skills.
We commit to ensuring that we will implement the 10 National principles for child safe organisations in our continued pursuit of best practice in creating an environment where children’s safety and wellbeing is core and an emphasis is placed on genuine student engagement and creating conditions which reduce the likelihood of harm.
We commit to the eSafety Commissioner’s Online Safety Educational Framework as a guide for all esport and related STEM initiatives. We will help participating schools assess the quality of programs and approaches in esport and STEM initiatives against the Online safety educational framework.
We commit to mitigating and responding to the evolving risks in esports and online concerns, namely: contact, conduct, content and commercialism. We will engage with school communities, students, parents and carers in order to address concerns.
We commit to empowering students and schools to build resilience through using restorative practises to effect a positive cultural change. We will utilise the eSafety Commissioner’s and ACRA educational curriculum to promote respectful relationships and safe long-term
